Dear Friends, Thank you for visiting my campaign web page. It's an honor to work every day for the people of North Dakota in the United States Senate, and I never take that opportunity for granted. Together, we can continue to invest in new jobs and an exciting future for North Dakota. The Red River Valley Research Corridor that I developed has created a new high tech sector right here at home and will be the foundation for continued economic expansion and new jobs in our state. Together, we can work for energy policies that promote home-grown sources of energy while reducing our dependence on foreign oil and capitalizing on our abundant coal and oil resources. And together, we will make sure government is working for you, from ferreting out wasteful spending, to strengthening Social Security, making health care affordable for all Americans, and ensuring that ourf amily farms have the safety net they deserve and need. I am optimistic about the future of North Dakota and our country, and I will continue to use my experience, my leadership position and my key committee assignments in the U.S. Senate to build opportunity in our state and to meet the challenges we face in our country.
